Community Development

Community Development is very important to our growth. We have 2 organizations geared to provide that service - New Boston SIDC and EDC. 

The New Boston Special Industrial Development Corporation (NBSIDC) and New Boston Community Development Corporation (NBCDC) provides planning and development services in a professional and friendly manner to enhance and protect the quality of life, sense of community, well-being and prosperity of the city’s residents, businesses and visitors.

The Board is committed to making our community an even better place for its residents to live and enjoy life. By funding community and economic development projects, we strive to honor our past, celebrate today and plan for our future. As our population grows, we are committed to holding fast to the small town values that make the City of New Boston such a special place to live, work and visit.

Both Boards are headquartered in the City Building at 1 Trail Head Park Plaza, New Boston, TX 75570.
